This place is awesome. Not only do they have an amazing happy hour (see photo), but they also have a Touch Tunes jukebox and a couple arcade games. Sold! The inside reminds me a bit of the Ale House, but not a little more personal. It's not as overwhelming. The bartenders were both friendly and attentive. The happy hour bites were delicious. We had the nachos n' cheese & the quesadillas. All in all, there was a nice vibe, and it was a great place to meet friends and chill. Now that I know about this location, I will definitely be back for more!

Came because of the crazy amount of marketing I get mailed to my house (the junk mail works!) I have been here before when it used to be Rickey's and not much of the set up has changed.....wait in fact NOTHING has changed. We ordered wings and fries and it was just okay. The place was dead, and location is honestly really weird that I feel affects the business way too much. Not something I would crave but the deals they give out it is worth trying.

Had the grilled Dale wings. It was wings covered in salt. Forget the heat it was suppose to carry. My wife had the regular grilled wings. Can anyone say salty? The same goes for the fries. I keep trying to tell myself to try and like this place. It's just not happening. The manager was very polite and gave us discount coupons for next time.

Wow, I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed. I ordered their "special grilled" wings. What I got were wings that have probably sat under a light for 2 hours. McDonald's would have had them fresher. My bf ordered a tuna melt. Tuna was COLD and the cheese was not melted. Onion rings tastes like burnt oil. Slacker cooks on a Sunday night. I wanted to watch the Sunday Night Football and I ran out of there in 30 mins and going someplace else.

My favorite place for chicken wings the best, sandwiches are good too. Love that they are here in Pembroke Pines

Great place to watch my NY Giants play! Josh, Beth and Nick have gone beyond making sure we have everything we need! Love the brownie sundae bartender Josh made for me!

The special grilled wings are the best! We come here often and always have a great time. The service is friendly, always greeted with a smile. Besides having the usual beer choices, they have some good craft beer and seasonal. Highly recommend Sports Grill.

Came here for the first time to watch the UFC Fights. Compared to the other places around showing the fights this place was pretty quite. The wings were amazing.

This placed is located on pines hidden where rickeys used to be. The grilled wings are the best in my opinion, i have those with some fries and nachos and thats a wrap. I always get a free beer for the hubby by checking in and using #bestwingsinmiami today was Wednesday and kids eat free so that was a plus. We were sat right away and Nancy was our server she was very attentive and made sure my cup was always full. Cant complain the service was good and fast and the food was great.

We really looked forward to the opening of your restaurant. We missed meeting our friends from Rickey's. Boy were we disappointed. The menu is very limited with NO pasta dishes. We used to love playing trivia but it is not offered. Now we are told we can't sit outside and have a drink. Why have tables outside??? Very disappointed to say the least.

My husband and I went here on Wednesday night for a couple of beers and some chicken wings. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The grilled wings were a nice size, cooked just right & very tasty. My husband enjoyed playing some ThouchTunes from his phone. My only complaint would be that the later happy hour starts at 10pm and not 9pm, like other places nearby. We will be going back for more wings soon.

I wish we had a worthwhile sports grill in the most western area of pines. Unfortunately this is not it for me. First timer after Rickey's. I walk in, un detected, go to the bar, a lady bartender asks what do I want to drink, I ask her for a menu. I order baby backs, they arrive crusty, much warmer outside than inside, with almost over fried salty waffle fries -and cole slaw which I never got to taste because I found a "long hair like, plastic something" in my mouth right about the 5th, warm rib. I call and motion to the lady bartender but fail to get her attention because she is busy getting back to conversing with a couple across from me. I catch the eye of the guy bartender now and I signal him over, I ask him if perhaps he knows what this stringy looking thing that I'am holding up to the low light may be, he tells the lady bartender she turns and walks away, after looking at "it" he just loudly asks for someone else to get the manager. I wait about 4-5 minutes, no one shows. I tell the bartender I'am done, no emotion from him, I get up and walk away. I really wished for a good experience. The place wasn't even that busy.

This was out first time eating at Sports Grill and we chose it on a whim for a Saturday lunch. We arrived about 12 and it was a dead zone - honestly I wondered if we should stay and try it - and I am SO glad we did!! Beth was our server and she was very attentive. Our order came out perfect and the food all looked homemade in the best way, an absolutely delicious (it was!) I ordered a salad + blackened chicken, and my boyfriend had the fried shrimp basket. I liked mine a lot more than his. With our $5 margaritas, the total came out to about $33. I would recommended upgrading to a better tequila base for the margarita for just a few dollars more. At the end, once Beth heard it was our first time visiting, she actually brought us out a few of their signature signature wings. She says it's what they built her business on, and I can see why. The service really made the visit for me - above and beyond. Oh, and by the time we left, the place was packed! All about the timing I guess.

Tucked away behind a car wash, one would only be able to find this place by social media, word-of-mouth, and by pure coincidence. I do love a good sports bar and a hole-in-the-wall treasure blind to the rest of the public, even if the generic name threw me off a bit. Therefore, my expectations were average. I left satisfied but uninspired. I was a part of a large party of about 20 or so, making the divided attention of the staff a bit chaotic. Our servers (their names escape me) were attentive but a bit oblivious. One in particular was about as full of life as a bag of rocks. To be fair, a group of this size required more attention, yet coordination lacked at best. Requests were incorrect, but fixed quickly. My second beer was not what I requested, but was forgivable since it was the same as the first. Service gets a free pass on this one. The Chicken Fingers and Chicken Philly were surprisingly devoid of flavor, strange since every other sports grill I've frequented had some form of sauce on any Philly they served. Honey mustard cured the chicken fingers, but the only happiness from my Philly came from the beer chaser. The beer was also brought fresh from the Arctic, as a thin sheet of ice formed on the top. The menu had no stand-out items, which is a big turn off for me. Perhaps something original and homemade would spruce it up. As much as I could give a recommendation to this place, I can only suggest it to those in need of sports, booze, pub grub, and happen to live closer than a few miles. The Yelper Christine M. is amazing in taking the time to respond to us reviewers no matter how harsh we may sound, but I give no promise of returning for a second chance. The madhouse of a group I came with may have soured it a little, but the service and food have tipped the scale back to zero for me. UPDATE: The fact that this place has only been open a short time slipped my mind when writing this review. While I stand by it as this was a first impression for me, I may provide a second chance in the coming months and update the review accordingly. Thanks to Christine for pointing that out, and I will try the wings next time.

Amended...bc if Christy and Nikki Felt we had/Nicki So far the worst service in all my years in Pines. Our Server is training a new server.. And she is not only only rude, she is discourteous and short and reticent altho we her first and only table at the time. The male server, who she is training, was cooperative and, so far, a delight. He is the only reason why we decided to stay. We chose this restaurant for our Bills' game today and we are beyond disappointed. The rude server, not trainee, who cut me off while I was ordering, got both orders incorrect. Let's see what happens for the next 30 minutes. So far, stay far away from this place, Go to Flanagan's..or sports grill in Dade. Beyond disappointed.. AM AMENDING REVIEW.. ALTHOUGH, ALBEIT, WE WERE TOLD ABOYT IT and my family is highly embarrassed.. Me.. Not so much. But, I hold my parents I high regard. Christy from corporate management, obviously, cares about customer and service.. The others.. Not so much. Nicki did put our game on. As we told others, we loved her. I told Morgan, my father met with Nicki before we decided to stay here, and we all loved her. Truthfully, the service did turn 180. Our server and others were beyond attentive, but to call us out 4 the yelp review.... Well, my parents felt bullied. I know it to be in poor taste. Yet, Christy from corporate seems to really care.. Give this place one more try...

Mediocre. I was excited to try this place since it's nearby my house and have heard good things but unfortunately, my experience was not as I expected. The service was ok. My server was not very attentive and seemed to not know much about their offers/specials. My friend wanted to order the free draft beer that is offered if you follow sports grill pines on Instagram and I wanted to use my 30% an appetizer coupon from yelp. The server only allowed us to use one not both which puzzled me because that was not specified in either fine print but oh well. My patty melt was pretty good not great and the spinach dip was OK. Overall, I might come back again, hopefully better next time.

Love this place. Consistent & friendly staff. I have always gone to the location in South Miami, since that is where I grew up. Now living in Pines for a few years, so glad to see they have another location near me. Will continue to go back to enjoy the great food.

I was so happy that this bar was showing the Rousey fight. It was one of the only that did in the area, which was a huge plus! The hostess was very friendly, but our waitress Beth was Awsome!! She was funny, friendly and very attentive. They are famous here for their wings and I can see why they were delicious!! I am definitely coming back for sure!

Tried out this place for the very first time the other night and loved it. Great atmosphere, lots of TVs to watch sports, friendly staff, and fast service. Everything has good prices and even though it's a sports bar, it's very family friendly. There's even a little section with arcade games. The food was great too. I can't say it's anything special, just your ordinary sports bar type food but made very well. I ordered the chicken philly and my husband had the special grilled chicken wings - all very good. My husband and I will definitely be back.

The best wings in the 305 have come to the 954. And it's about time. Sports Grill has built a reputation for offering the best grilled wings and the Pines location did not disappoint. The atmosphere is typical sports bar with TV's covering throughout. It was loud but not unbearable. The service was quick and courteous. Think Flannigans only with a better, less fishy menu and a wait staff that actually cares. The grilled wings are on point. The meat is smokey and falls off the bones. Comes with a naturally mild seasoning and packs enough flavor I didn't need any dipping sauce. The large basket of waffle fries were the perfect side. Hands down the best wing spot around.

Ok... so the first time I had wings that were fully grilled. There were amazing. I also heard for some reason that was outside of policy. They usually get their wings first. However after having the wings so juicy from them being grilled only I cannot go back to fried then grilled wings. I certainly hope there is something that can be done to where I can get grilled only wings if I do decide to come back. I'd be willing to revert back to 5 star if they can do grilled only wings. That made a HUGE difference. Wings/Food - 2.5 Service - 3 Ambience - 3 Overall - 3

This place is a hidden gem if you like the pub atmosphere. EXCELLENT wings (get their original wings) great bar food. Everyone is super nice that works here. I'd come here before I go to the Ale house! Come out and support your local establishments.

First off let me make this clear, I love Sports Grill. The one and only complaint I have ever had was I wish the beer selection was better. But the food is the best. This place is terrible on all fronts. The "happy hour" here isn't like all other SG's. Only 4 of the beers on draft are half off as compared to all of them. The wings here are an embarrassment to SG, my wife didn't need to use bleu cheese once because they were tasteless. The buffalo sauce was nonexistent on the wings, the special grill were bland and the fries tasted like they were sitting out for a while. Service was terrible but by that point I really didn't care since I was already mad about everything else. Being that they serve liquor unlike the other locations the only thing I could guess is that this one is a franchise because it's nothing like the others.

Love the wings, Special Grill, Dale Style, and Miami Heats!!!! Bar service has significantly improved!

Ecstatic that my favorite wings are now close by. Everything about this location is fantastic so far. They have transformed a restaurant that floundered for years into a great sports bar with the best wings I have ever had. The special grilled wings are fantastic. The flavor is so good that you shouldn't let any additional sauces or dressings anywhere near them. The fries are fantastic, especially the waffle fries. Service has been fast and attentive, great to see that they retained some of the old staff. I love all the SG locations, but this one has been the best of the bunch!!

1/4/15 - Given management's confusion of my original post, menu and pricing points discussed are based on comparisons to like places nearby...not historical occupants. This includes Flanigans, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse and others. The happy hour simply does not compare, nor the menu options. Finally, if proper licenses did not exist for outdoor use, this should have been said initially or variances obtained before communicating it to customers. Shows a lack of respect for the clientele. 12/18/14 - Since Sports Grill took over this location, I have actually been quite disappointed but knew I needed to give them a chance. They have a limited bar, no entree menu and their drink prices are high for this area. The food is not bad but let's faces it, bar food gets old quickly. The options are just so limited compared to other places in the area. What they consider to be "Happy Hour" price is what you can actually find elsewhere in the area during normal times. My reason that I was sticking around was to show support for the staff that have been serving my drinks before it became Sports Grill Pembroke Pines. Yesterday, I stopped by to find out they no longer allow alcoholic drinks at the tables outside, which was something that my friends and I actually quite enjoyed. Going there just hasn't been worth it for me and I've decided to take my money elsewhere. I wish Sports Grill the best of luck and I hope they figure out the Pembroke Pines market.

Absolutely fantastic food and great prices. Would return if a little less loud and the girls dressed more conservatively!

Best wings in town... (aside from mine of course). Special grilled and BBQ are my fav. Fries are awesome, great drink specials, several TVs, friendly staff, good size dining area, etc. etc. I've been to all of their locations, great food but this locale is the best one thus far. Staff is friendlier, more attentive. If u like wings, burgers, and beer.. this is the place.

Excellent food and service. The special grilled wings were very good. We also had the Philly Sports steak and Chicken Tenders. Very reasonable prices for the excellent food and good portions. Good variety of food. This was our first visit but we will definitely return

I like the place a lot. You'd never be able to find it if you didn't go to Rickey's before. The food is decent for bar food and I've never had any complaints about it. My only issue with the place is that the happy hour is terrible in comparison to Flanigan's, which is right down the road. I generally go to happy hour to have a few drinks, rather than for the food, and am more likely to choose the competition until the drink prices become more competitive during happy hours.

Jennifer is a phenomenal waitress but it doesn't make up for poor food quality. Unfortunately when Christine isn't here the food quality suffers...soggy fries, overcooked chicken wings, overcooked poppers...it's a shame their food quality isn't consistent. Either the cooks don't know what they're doing or simply don't care when the boss isn't there.

I was a frequent customer of Rickey's and absolutely love the transformation to Sports Grill. I am addicted to the Buffalo wings. Great atmosphere and the place is immaculate. I don't think you can find a seat that doesn't have a full view of a TV. I eat there at least once a week.

Awesome food and awesome employees. Our waiter Josh is the best ever. Super attentive and friendly. Could not be happier with this place. Going to recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Wings are the best!!!!!!!! Highly recommend.

Absolutely awesome wings. Choice of Wings grilled or fried with the best sauces like Miami Heat. I always order the grilled chicken wrap, amazing and light. Great portions and lots of TV's with all the sports you can take. Great service and really nice facility. So happy Its close to home :)

  • Conny B.

Decent food at reasonable prices. Our waitress was very friendly and the manager stopped by a few times to ask if everything was as expected. The place has a comfy, neighborhood-sports bar kind of feel, which we liked. The food portions are not huge, which is fine. The philly cheese steak sandwich was great. The bowl used for the spinach dip we ordered was very small and was not a good size for sharing.

Great atmosphere for watching games. The chicken wings are amazing! I love their special grilled ones. Great and personable servers. I highly recommend this place!
